Description(English)	From big ceremonial occasions to everyday gatherings, we take part in countless events in our lives to share our important moments and celebrate others. Such ceremonies are an important part of Korean culture, many of which originate from folk religion. However, we mindlessly rely on meaningless disposable products or Western party goods on those occasions. With this in mind, we propose utensils that reflect the significance of Korean celebration. We have reinterpreted motifs of Korean folk paintings and geometrical elements found in Chekgado and Shibjangsaeng into modern illustrations and patterns. These utensils are elegant and easy to use.
Description(Native)	우리는 살아가면서 중요한 순간들을 소중한 사람들과 함께합니다. 관혼상제라 불리는 큰 사건들부터 작게 축하할 수 있는 모임, 일상적인 모임까지. 가족, 친지들 뿐 아니라 선후배와 직장동료까지 아우르는 다양한 모임의 순간들이 모여 하나의 모임문화가 만들어 지고 있습니다. 이사 가고 나서 모여서 집터를 밟는 의미의 집들이, 남녀가 만나 결혼하여 부부가 되는 과정에서의 상견례나 수많은 축하 자리들, 그리고 태어난 아기의 첫 생일을 축하하고 장수를 기원하는 돌잡이 까지. 이러한 자리는 공통적으로 우리나라 민간신앙에서 그 기원을 찾아볼 수 있습니다. 우리는 한국의 모임 문화에서 의미 없이 버려지는 일회용품이나 어울리지 않는 파티용품을 대체할 수 있는 물건들을 제안해 보고 싶었습니다. 서양의 파티문화와는 분명 다른 성격과 뜻 깊은 의미를 되짚어 보고 싶었습니다. 전통적으로 복을 상징하는 박쥐문양, 무병장수와 부귀영화를 기원하는 호랑이와 토끼 등 민화에서 얻은 모티브, 책가도와 십장생도에서 찾은 조형적 요소를 현대적 일러스트레이션과 패턴으로 재해석했습니다. 모임이 있을 때 모임의 격을 높이면서도 손쉽게 사용할 수 있는 물건들을 제작하고자 합니다. 또한 모임에서 한 번만 쓰고 버려지는 것이 아닌 다회용, 업사이클이 가능한 브랜드를 지향합니다.
