Description(English)	STICHARGE - Universal Cableless Mobile Energy Source Our homes are places where we rest, sleep, play and work. As electronic consumer goods are getting common in our lives, charging them in our homes becomes a design issue. Wire lying around becomes an aesthetic challenge and cable management becomes necessary. With the recent advancement of mobile computing, mobile devices such as smartphone and tablets are always 'power hungry' due to higher usage of applications and huge data being transferred. Users of mobile devices are faced with lugging their cables, their charger and have to deal with different country power sockets wherever they travel to. With wireless charging technology, there is a design opportunity to relook our existing electrical charging habits. Our design solution lies in the wireless charging and 'stick' nanotechnology. STICHARGE (Stick & Charge) leverages on the wireless charging technology to create a new future for electrical energy source. As wireless charging uses an inductive mean of an electromagnetic field to transfer energy from one body to another, there is no need for cables or different faced sockets. This new technology with its mini components allow us as industrial designers to propose a new form of charging for our mobile devices and appliances. Our future wall sockets will become a universal faceplate that gives out inductive electrical energy to StiCharge and StiCharge will in turn gives out inductive electrical energy to our mobile devices. With nanoscopic suction texture you can stick it on the back of our wireless-enabled mobile device and it identifies the receiver inside our product and charges it. With this new product StiCharge, there will be no dusty cables and we do not need to worry about different socket adaptors as we travel - The new Universal Cableless Mobile Energy Source.
