Description(English)	A shoe getting stuck in an escalator can happen to anyone. The current solutions to this problem only address the physical aspect, limiting the effectiveness. Beforehand Edge-Up solves this problem by elevating the edges of steps. When the rider steps on the edges it is instantly clear that they are near the edges since the floor is angled. The angled plane also reduces the contact area between the shoe and the wall, decreasing the chances of the shoe getting wedged.
Description(Native)	에스컬레이터의 계단에 발이 끼는 사고들은 누구에게나 무심결에 일어날 수 있는 사고이며, 또한 현재에도 빈번히 일어나고 있다. 현재 나와 있는 에스컬레이터 발 끼임 사고를 막는 방법들은 단순히 물리적으로만 사고를 방지하려 하였기 때문에 그 효과가 한정적이었다. 하지만 EDGE-UP 은 그 층계의 양쪽 끝을 올려 사람이 무심코 발을 디뎠을 시에 균형을 잃을 수 있다는 심리적 부담을 자극하여 층계의 양쪽 끝에 발을 디디지 못하게 함과 동시에, 고무같이 부드럽고 마찰력이 높아 에스컬레이터의 층계와 벽 사이에 끼어 사고가 나기 쉬운 재질의 신발들이 층계와 벽 사이에 쉽게 끼지 않도록 디자인 되어, 에스컬레이터에 발이 끼이는 사고들을 미연에 방지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
