Description(English)	'Royal & Co.', which has focused on research and production of such ceramics and faucets, is a company that doesn’t settle for the production of products but lays great store on the meaning of products. 'Royal & Co.' showroom in Seoul was renovated in 10 years, but the structure was very complicated and the content to be filled was too much of a project. So, by taking the afore-mentioned double-sidedness with ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ as the total concept, we have made it look like a single space from a broader view and had the various separate characteristics show naturally at a look inside.
Description(Native)	로얄앤컴퍼니는 예전 로얄토토의 시절부터 이러한 도기와 수전에 대한 연구와 제작에 매진한 회사이며, 단순한 제품의 제작보다는 제품에 대한 의미를 매우 중요시하는 회사입니다. ‘물과 사람’에 대한 의미를 제품에 담아낸다는 뜻을 깊이 새기고 있으며, 이러한 신념은 여타 다른 동종업계의 회사보다 먼저 문화와 공간이라는 것으로 표현하였습니다. 로얄앤컴퍼니의 서울 쇼룸은 10년 만에 리뉴얼되어 '로얄라운지'라는 이름으로 재탄생되었습니다. 프로젝트를 위해 주어진 공간은 구조적으로 굉장히 복잡하게 나누어져 있고, 또한 채워져야 할 것은 너무 많은 곳이었습니다. 그래서 앞서 언급한 ‘겉’과 ‘속’의 양면성을 전체의 컨셉을 잡고 크게 보았을 때 하나의 공간으로 보이게끔 하고, 한 발자국 앞서 안을 들여다보면 각각의 다양한 특징이 자연스럽게 드러나게끔 하였습니다. 전체를 감싸는 무채색의 마감으로 일관성을 유지하고 각각의 덩어리 안쪽은 각 기능을 품고 있는 마감으로 그 특징을 표현하였습니다.
