Description(English)	Red Square House is located in a residential area near Seoul. A young couple is used to live in an apartment with two children and parents but dreaming of living in a residential area, where quiet pedestrians, private garden are provided. The young couple uses all three levels from ground to rooftop. At ground level, there is a corridor connection to their parents space. The privacy between the families is protected, but the children can pass, freely. The basic mass is white and there is one complete side with red. Bricks are common material but by using one complete side, it can give impression of 'Dan-Saek-Hwa' monochrome of Korea.
Description(Native)	레드스퀘어 하우스는 서울근교에 있는 주택단지에 위치한다. 젊은 부부는 아이들, 부모님과 함께 아파트에서 생활하면서, 주택지역에서의 생활을 꿈꿨다. 높지 않게 지어진 집들, 조용한 인도와 차도, 개인정원 등 전원주택이 가지는 매력은 크다. 많은 대화와 고민 끝에 3세대가 하나의 지붕아래에 함께 사는 집이 만들어지게 된다. 젊은 부부는 1층의 정원과 옥탑방이 있는 테라스 공간을 모두 사용하고 싶다는 포부를 밝혔다. 연면적이 총66평으로, 부모님 세대와 임대세대를 제외하면 부부가 쓸 수 있는 면적은 크지 않았다. 우리는 하나의 세대가 세 개 층을 함께 쓰는 것이 가능한 공간을 고민했는데, 각 세대들이 층으로 구획된 단순한 공간을 넘어서는 공간이 나오기를 기대했기 때문이다. 부부세대와 부모님세대의 1층의 일부는 내부에서 연결된다. 이는 서로의 프라이버시는 지켜주고, 아이들의 통행은 자유로울 수 있는 공간이다. 주변 집들의 외부재료는 돌이거나, 벽돌이 많다. 화이트로 기본 매스를 잡아주고, 길이 있는 입면은 빨간색 벽돌을 사용하였다. 흔한 재료지만 독특한 입면으로 재탄생되도록 한 면만 사용했고, 텍스추어가 마치 한국의 단색화 같이 보이도록 줄눈의 색을 유사하게 처리했다. 레드스퀘어 하우스는 이 입면을 통해 단지안에서 독특한 아이덴티티를 가지게 되었다.
