Description(English)	Set amongst a quiet leafy suburb near the Morrison Academy in Taichung City, enables this residence to be a haven of tranquillity. The primary aim was to turn limited space from the original build into open plain living that included an island bench in the kitchen. The remodelling created an abundance of sunlight in the living areas, and together with the utilisation of celling enhancements exceeded the client's expectations. The client's favourite wood tones and the designer's choice of marble lines flow throughout the home.
Description(Native)	本案為獨棟私人住宅, 一樓是餐客廳開放空間, 二至三樓規劃為個別臥室。原始房屋改造, 面臨最大的挑戰是屋主希望能在有限的空間內仍能擁有中島吧檯的規劃, 我們期待這個設計的呈現。 經過不斷的調整與溝通, 嘗試改變空間使用屬性, 運用天花板的造型與採光天窗, 我們重新定義了開放空間, 並將屋主喜愛的中島吧檯設計發揮到極致 屋主喜愛木紋與原木的質感, 我們將木頭所能呈現的表面裝飾, 與特選紋路的大理石巧妙的搭配, 讓白色與不規則灰色塗裝的主要牆面為底, 襯托出明顯的對比線條, 營造簡約、溫馨而現代的居家設計。 萬物從原始逐漸進化, 在時間軸上的交替從未停歇在建築物裡, 藉由格局的改變, 也轉換視野。我們喜歡經過巧思設計後, 人文與空間的相輔相成。重新改造的目的, 是讓這裡隨處都存在生活品味。這是屋主嚮往已久的莊園, 期待友人自遠方來的下午茶時光, 共同品味生活。
