Description(English) | As a necessary part of the developing complex at the site, the hotel has taken over essential factors from the Hakkas’ architectural culture. Grey tile walls, thick wood doors and beams, carven sculptures along the eaves…those components from disassembled buildings in Southern Fujian got marked in number, and were transformed to the place and assembled following the same. The pyramid-inspired steel-framed glass roofing was carved into the angular structure, which contrasts with the old buildings. By generalizing this technique, the glass house protrudes into the complex while widening the views above the guestrooms on the second floor. |
Description(Native) | 在历史长河中得以保存下来的的南香楼坐落于深圳市区的甘坑客家小镇,今天她以新的姿态、以现代设计结合客家文化建筑形态,打造属于符合现代人审美和需要的酒店空间。 南香楼现存建筑兼具闽南和客家风情,实木结构颇具规模。历经120年沧桑的牌匾,让人不免低吟“不妨常做南香客”,今日摇身一变成为酒店入口的提额,亦是窥探当地文化的门径。 设计师将新旧建筑样式并置,钢结构斜坡屋顶在古建筑群内构成亮点,即使在白天,无需人造灯光也可进行各种活动。 原建筑窗棂上图案用作建筑表皮,进门即开始讲述南香楼的故事。入口两侧的造型石墩,以船型站台的形式呈现,蕴含客家人迁涉渡海的艰辛;大堂中沿用南香楼屋檐上的字雕,意境悠远。 南香楼展馆完美传承了当地建筑文化的要素,从闽南地区将完整的传统客家建筑拆解编号,搬迁至此再次组装拼搭,从某种意义上说,建筑也如同一位客家人,完成了自己的迁徙,搬入甘坑新居。 |
