| Description(English) | In the movie Titanic, in the icy ocean the ship is sinking, a soul-stirring and appalling scene; Jack, in the icy water, is becoming numb with cold and sinking gradually to the ocean bottom, and this is a heart-gnawing scene.In the present design, there is included in the life buoy some quicklime, which may give rise to exothermic reaction when coming in contact with water, so that the victim might not be frozen dumb when dropping into icy water in a shipwreck, buying them enough time until the arrival of rescuers. |
