Description(English) | By observing the three behaviours of people during meals: cutting, dipping and drinking, these chopsticks were designed with different functions and shapes that fit these behaviors.There are three different features and functions. The chopsticks for dipping can be used to dip and mix various sauces. The texture of the head can enhance the eating experience; the chopstick for drinking not only can be used to grasp food but also to drink through like a straw; the chopstick for cutting food using the curved and pointed head shape allows it to be used like a knife and fork. |
Description(Native) | 筷子作为亚洲国家最常使用的餐具,已经有数千年的历史,然而它的形态和功能并没有随着时间的变迁而变化。Impossible Chopsticks Series希望重新定义人们对于筷子的固有观念。通过观察了人们在使用餐具进食时的行为,并试图探索具有新的形态和功能的筷子。 首先提取了中国筷子方首圆足的形态特点,观察并分析人们在进食中切,吸,蘸的行为过程后,再设计出功能和形态上各能满足以上三种行为的筷子。其中包括:中间部分真空可以像吸管一样使用的筷子;具有弯曲和尖锐的形态方便用来切割食物的筷子;头部螺旋形态方便蘸取和混合酱料的筷子。 |
