When cutting harder fruits and vegetables like corn, people will habitually press the back of the knife with the palm to assist in the effort, although the sharp back of the knife often cuts the palm. After people have cut the vegetables, they will fall off the knife when they shovel the cut vegetables into the pot with the blade of a knife. Concerning both problems above, we redesigned the kitchen knife: the curved back of the knife is more conducive to safe gripping, ergonomic, and efficiently prevents the dish from falling from the knife. The smooth and concise shape is simple to produce.
