Description(English)
The CREALER project focuses on customized prostheses with specific care for children with disabilities. We integrate digital 3D printing with modular design for low-cost prosthesis customization, which alleviates the financial burden of children’s families due to conventional prosthesis production.
Also, unlike many existing concepts that offer cool-looking prosthetic limbs (e.g., hands) for disabled children to imitate healthy ones, we aim to respond to not only physical needs but also psychological demands of disabled children, eliminating potentially mental pressure that may significantly undermine those who are not yet mentally mature.
