Description(English)	The government has designated school zones to safeguard children.But, accidents continue to occur on school commuting routes.The Project, aimed at addressing these challenges, utilized the Service Design Methodology.We established a Citizen Design Team comprising residents, relevant authorities, and school officials to investigate target areas and devise designs based on academic papers.Our approach involved analyzing school routes within the target areas.The project aims to enhance proactive monitoring and awareness in school zones by implementing safety measures, with a strong emphasis on ensuring the safety of both drivers and pedestrians.
Description(Native)	현대 도심지의 고밀화 속에서 어린이는 안전취약계층에 속합니다. 많은 차량과 복잡한 환경 속에서 어린이를 위한 공간은 줄어들고 보도 단절과 장애물, 야간 보행 시 위험 등 각종 위험에 노출되어 있습니다. 어린이를 보호하기 위해 정부에서는 학교 주변 300~500m 내에 어린이의 안전을 위해 어린이보호구역을 지정하였습니다. 그럼에도 어린이 통학 구간에서는 여전히 많은 사고가 발생하고 있습니다. 이러한 문제 개선을 위한 '연제구 안전통학길 조성 사업'은 그 해답을 '서비스 디자인 방법론'에서 찾고자 했습니다. 주민과 관할기관, 학교 관계자로 구성된 시민공감디자인단 운영과 대상지 조사, 관련 논문 등을 활용해 디자인 개발을 진행했습니다. 여러 과정을 거쳐 어린이의 즐거움과 웃음을 상징하는 노란색과 여유와 배려를 불러일으키는 파란색 활용한 색채 계획을 세웠습니다. 또한 어린이의 낮은 눈높이(성인: 수직 120°, 수평 150°/ 어린이: 수직 70°, 수평 90°)를 고려한 안전시설물의 배치와 인지능력을 고려한 디자인을 적용하였습니다. '연제구 안전통학길 조성사업'은 안전시설물을 통해 자연 감시와 어린이보호구역에 대한 경각심을 고취시키고, 영역성을 확보하여 안전한 거리를 조성하여 시각과 보행의 연속성을 통해 운전자와 보행자 모두의 안전을 목표로 합니다.
