Description(English) | Inspired by a foil used in fencing games, the proposed foil-like stick is designed to replace the plastic plates in doughnut shops. Customers skewer doughnuts of choice to go. Basically, the design consists of two pieces: an approx. 30-cm hexagonal body and a stick used to take doughnuts. Withthe two pieces, those who buy a half-dozen(6) doughnuts use the stick instead of a plastic plate by grabbing its handle like a foil to skewer doughnuts and go to the counter, where clerks put a long hexagonal container over the doughnuts on the stick. To fix the bottom of the container, the dented part is pushed inward so that doughnuts will not fall out but be safely carried. Also, as no plastic bags are used and as the volume is smaller, it helps reduce paper and plastic waste. |
