Description(English)	Breaking away from using marble as the material of the TV wall, in this project, the design team used the wooden elements to create the main visual concept of the public area. The radial texture of the wooden material makes the large-area storage cabinet seems light and lively, and the open area in the middle of the cabinet provides a functional display for the client’s collection. The overall style is using modern design techniques, smooth space, large storage, and open dining area configuration, expand the home space in a clean way.
Description(Native)	本案坐落於臺灣北投溫泉鄉，四周綠意橫生，是退休者頤養天年的絕佳之地。設計者跳脫傳統退休宅的思考，秉持「環境為主、空間為輔」的核心價值，以繽紛優雅的色調、樸質素淨的材質語彙、富含「臺灣味」的創意巧思設計，在開放寬敞、毫無矯飾的空間型態裡，寫入休閒放鬆的情緒感受，賦予居住者全新的退休生活方式。全室除了多功能和室之外，無任何高低差的設計，並採用鏤空、開放式的收納機能，體現無障礙的便利生活。玄關端景以獨特的展示收納，塑造立體視覺，揭開充滿趣味性的空間序幕。開放式餐廚區以濃淡有致的進口磁磚鋪陳，斑駁的美感，為空間挹注豐富多變的層次；主牆可隨意抽換的松木洞洞板，則增添了屋主間的互動樂趣。設計者利用臺灣老宅獨有的水泥花磚作為隔屏，其鏤空的縫隙灑下輕柔光影，使場域整齊規律又富有間奏變化。客廳及書房以一道半高書桌界定分野，加上舒適悠閒的窗邊臥榻，佐搭綠意美景，讓自然伴讀生活。上方貫穿空間脈絡的大樑，設計者特意以木質加大，詮釋平釘天花的意象，其一路延伸至臥房空間，勾勒出空間綿延不斷的動態場景。臥房與其內部衛浴皆有大面對外窗景，因此，設計者輔借循序的穿透玻璃，以一氣呵成的視覺動線，讓自然景色之美映射一室。
