Description(English)	On the second floor,We create new LDK space for the parent household. The structure that appeared in the process of was chaotic. By deploying the arch ceiling around the pillars, We concealed the structure and acquired a new quality of space. On the first floor, it was to improve the livability of the corridor for child households. We have set up shelves that can be used for various purposes, so that I can respond to the various behaviors of my family. This corridor is designed as a multipurpose space that as a study desk, bookshelf, cabinet, or storage.
Description(Native)	本計画では１階を子世帯、２階を親世帯として、玄関を共有するプランを採用し、建物を部分的に最小限に改装し、居住性の問題の解決と家族形態を豊かに更新することを試みました。２階は２室に別れていた空間を親世帯の新しいLDKスペースとし、十分な床面積と天井高を獲得する計画です。２階を改修する過程で現れた構造体は無秩序でまとまりのない状態となっていましたが、私は柱を中心に連続するアーチ天井を展開させることで、煩雑な構造部材を隠蔽しながら新たな空間の質を獲得することを実現しました。一方、１階は子世帯の共有廊下の居住性の向上が目的でした。私は様々な用途に対応できる棚を設け、家族の多様な振る舞いに応えられるようにしました。この廊下は家事室や寝室へのハブとしても機能しながら、書斎や本棚、飾り棚や収納棚としても機能する多目的スペースとして設計されています。この計画では、部分改修によって生じる既存建物とのズレを素材や色遣いによって、新旧の空間の切替えによる新鮮さや豊かさとして積極的に享受することを実現しました。
