Description(English)	Pragmatic and innovative is the unique quality of Dongguan .Innovation obtains materials from local sources; and common objects that are unimpressive in daily life can just be well integrated into the visual design. For example, the wooden round table which is an essential for households in the Lingnan area and the food stalls alongside streets, and the bamboo rail fence representing urban transformation. The overall exhibition space can also supplement to feel the increasing changes during the construction of a high-quality city.
Description(Native)	顺应粤港澳大湾区时代城市群发展潮流，东莞正推出以品质取胜、全力打造“湾区都市、品质东莞”的战略。在这个历史节点中，设计扮演的角色越发重要，为此东莞市文化馆、一时半刻联合谢谢设计特别策划「城心诚意－设计为品质城市加分提案周」。 集结全国各地卓越设计师的诚意之作聚合东莞，剖析作品背后看不见的过程和思维，以直观、实际、干货和在地的策展思路，启发人们重新理解设计、重新理解品质；了解设计还可以用何种形态介入公共领域，让设计为品质城市加分发挥更大的作用。 务实而创新是东莞特有的品质，我们将日常与创意相结合，营造一种在亲切熟悉中观展的体验感，来启发观者“日常”也可以很“设计”，“周遭”也可以很“艺术”，不一定非要为新而新才是创新。从本土取材，将生活场景中经常被人视而不见的物件，例如岭南地区家里和街边大排档必不可少的“木圆桌”、代表城市更新建设改造的“竹排栅”，融入到视觉设计中，并结合整体展览空间设计，以求让观众沉浸式地融入到城市更新氛围的旧与新里去，深切感受品质城市建设过程中的变化。 一个有活力的城市不应该没有设计，一个有追求的城市不应该没有细节，一个有品质的城市不应该没有人文，借由本展览为品质城市提案，从对比中学习、思考，让设计为品质城市加分发挥更大的作用，用「诚」造「城」。
