Description(English)	This is a project to renovate a dwelling unit in an 18-year-old apartment. You can control the sense of distance between this side and the other side by using the sliding doors. If you open them, the light from the bedroom gently illuminates the corridor in the morning. The children's bed room can be separated by 4 sliding doors and the shelves in the room can be used from the corridor by opening the sliding doors. A workspace partitioned by glass sliding doors was set up in the living as they can control how to connect with the family. Even in a limited space, we realized the way of living in the future, where we can relax and work at home.
Description(Native)	築１８年のマンション住戸を改修した。引戸は、外の音が聞こえるように少しだけ開けたり、視界を遮るため少しだけ閉めたりと、周辺環境と様々な繋がり方をつくることができる。こちらとあちらの距離感を調節し、繋がり方の調整弁の役割を果たす。 連続引戸を開けておけば、朝、寝室の窓からの自然光が廊下側まで優しく照らし、閉鎖的になりがちな住戸内廊下に光と開放感を与える。子供部屋は小さい子供が将来自室を持てるように４枚の引戸で仕切ることができ、廊下側の棚は引戸を開ければ廊下からも使うことができる。部屋と廊下の境界は曖昧になっている。リビングの一角のワークスペースはガラス引戸で仕切った。家族の様子を見守りながら仕事でき、引戸の開閉で家族との繋がり方を調節することができる。 近年日本では、働くオフィス、寛ぐ家と明確な機能分離がなされていたが、新型コロナの影響により在宅ワークが急速に普及した。働く人は家の中で仕事をする場所が必要になり、学生もオンライン授業を受ける必要が生じた。しかしながら住宅のスペースは限られ、子供がいれば様子を見守る環境も必要になる。そういった状況でも、引戸の家では引戸の開閉具合や扉の仕様を工夫することで、限られた空間でも広い部屋に集まったり、個室に閉じこもったりできる。このように人との繋がり方に選択の幅があることが、家で寛ぎ仕事もする、これからの住まいの一つのあり方ではないだろうか。
