Description(English)	Doing nothing, but not doing nothing. A space of doing nothing, with formlessness and uselessness. Formless form can be authentic form, and useless use can have authentic use. It is based on the emptiness between walls. This is a concept to overturn common sense that good design and space have to make a good form and to suggest a certain use. The space of doing nothing-aesthetics of emptying is not simply completed by no walls or minimizing decorations. It can be completed by creating the formless interior space with moderate finishing materials, simple details, and the useless state to accept all functions with appropriate furniture.
Description(Native)	‘무위이무불위(無爲以無不爲)’ 아무것도 하지 않지만, 하지 않는 것이 하나도 없다. 무형(無型)과 무용(無用)을 담은 무위(無爲)의 공간. ‘형태를 버려야 진정한 형태에 도달할 수 있으며, 쓰임새를 버려야 진정한 쓰임새를 얻을 수 있다’. 무엇인가를 잘해야 하고 형태를 잘 만들어내야 하며 확실한 쓰임새를 제시해야만 좋은 공간이고 뛰어난 디자인이라는 사회적 상식을 뒤집는 개념입니다. 공간의 본질을 벽이 짓는 형상에 두지 않고 벽과 벽 사이의 진공-비운 상태에 두는 것입니다. 지상 200ｍ, 눈 앞에 펼쳐지는 세상은 하늘, 빛, 구름, 산, 그리고 땅입니다. 창공의 자연경관을 향해 최대한 열려있는 개방감, 극도로 절제된 실내공간으로 흐르는 빛, 어디까지가 하늘이고 어디까지가 집안인지, 어디까지가 자연이고 어디까지가 인위인지, 공간을 나누는 벽을 짓지 않아 잠정적인 경계, 자연과 공간이 하나 되는 물아일체의 공간입니다. 무위의 공간-비움의 미학은 단순히 벽을 짓지 않음이나 장식의 최소화로 만들어지는 것은 아닙니다. 절제된 마감재의 사용과 간결한 디테일로 군더더기 없는 무형의 실내공간을 만들고, 그곳에 적절한 가구의 배치를 하여 어떠한 기능도 다 받아들일 수 있는 무용의 상태를 만들 때 가능합니다.
