Description(English)	We endeavored to create space offering diverse experiences that can be appreciated from each seat through stability over extravagance, a sense of chunk provided by the mass, separation and connection of spaces based on the height of the mass and local lighting illuminated upon them. Though it is a simple space without excessive decorative elements, the place presents the unique feeling of OBALTAN that is elegant based on explicit contrast, revelation of essential structure and harmony between the light and material properties connecting and embracing every corner of the place.
Description(Native)	같은 소재, 같은 이야기라도 어떠한 방식으로 담아내는가에 따라 전혀 다른 울림으로 다가오기 마련이다. 우리는 고급스러움보다는 안정감, 그리고 매스가 주는 덩어리의 느낌 매스의 높낮이에 따른 공간의 분리와 연결. 그 위에 국부조명을 통해 각 좌석에서 다양한 경험을 선사하는 공간을 만들고자 했다. 과도한 장식적 요소 없이 심플한 공간이지만, 분명한 대비, 본질적인 구조의 드러냄, 공간 곳곳을 잇고 감싸는 빛과 물성의 조화가 잔잔하고 보다 품격 있는 오발탄만의 정서를 표현한다. 평면 조닝은 단순한 구성으로 하되, 재료의 매스감과 빛의 변화를 통해 오발탄만의 분위기에 맞는 무드를 조성하여 오래도록 접근 가능한 공간을 설계하고자 했다. 내부로 들어서면 공간 전체를 아우르는 석재의 묵직함 속에 천정의 패턴구조물의 빛이 굴절되어 퍼지며 생동감이 넘치는 그림자로 ENTRANCE 에 다채로운 정서를 발산한다. 외부 파사드부터 마천석으로 벽, 인포데스크, 바닥까지 하나의 매스로 만들어주어, 공간에 힘을 실어주고, 그 뒤로 보이는 벽과 파티션 및 바리솔 천정의 단 차이가 인상적인 매스감을 드러내며 어둡고 차분한 컬러로 공간을 정돈 시켜 주었다. 이런 단정함과 통일감을 갖춘 디자인의 반복적인 요소, 수평적인 비례가 전해주는 안정감이 공간을 완성해준다.
