Description(English)	The Meju factory, which is the existing production facility was maintained and two large structures were planned, utilising the idle space within the factory, one on the ground and the other on the roof. From the outside, it maintains the character of an ordinary factory-type building commonly seen in rural areas, but inside it is a new type of architectural character hid. The three primary colors of red, yellow, and green hidden in soybeans are applied to the space. The Colorbeans Pavilion has a soybean panel on the ceiling that resembles a factory full of beans, so you can experience colors that move with the change of light and time.
Description(Native)	한국의 전통식품 중 하나인 메주는 콩으로 만들어지는데 메주 공장은 농번기와 휴지기 두 개의 시즌으로 나뉜다. 농번기에는 메주를 생산하고 상품을 만들며 휴지기에는 체험, 교육 및 서비스 공간으로 활용할 수 있는 공간이 필요했다. 기존 생산시설은 유지하고 공장 내의 유휴 공간을 활용하여 지상과 옥상에 두 개의 큰 구조물을 계획했고 겉에서 보기에는 농촌에서 흔히 보이는 일상적인 공장형 건물의 캐릭터를 유지하고 있지만 그 속에는 새로운 유형의 건축적 캐릭터를 숨겼다. 메주의 주원료인 콩에 숨어있는 빨강, 노랑, 초록 이 세 가지 원색을 공간에 입혀 표현하였는데 강렬한 빨강은 서비스 공간으로, 사람들을 새로운 공간 속으로 인도해주는 역할을 한다. 3층 옥상 공간에 있는 Colorbeans 파빌리온은 천정에 마치 공장에 콩이 꽉 차있는 것을 형상화한 콩 패널을 설치해 빛과 시간의 변화에 따라 움직이는 컬러풀한 색감을 경험할 수 있다. Soybean Samdong은 단순히 농촌의 도시화와 근대화 그리고 개발이라는 시대적 변화 속에 사라져가는 전통산업인 농업의 계승과 발전을 위한 새로운 농촌형 융복합 산업을 위한 공간이다.
