Description(English)	While cutting boxes or paper, it is easy to overshoot the cutting area due to the cutting speed and inertia, which makes the users or even others prone to accidental injuries. Cut&Retract is the redesign of a cutting tool whose blade will auto-retract at the moment when people finish cutting. Such function is achieved through the internal lever structure. No matter how fast the cutting process is, it prevents the blade from hurting people. The form and mode of interaction of this design were inspired by the nautilus, a marine creature who will retract into its shell in the face of danger.
Description(Native)	当人们用传统裁纸刀切割物品时，由于切割时的惯性和速度，人无法及时将手中的刀停下或者将刀片收回，导致伸出的刀片容易划伤自己甚至是周围的人，这种情况会经常发生在划开纸箱或者裁纸时。 Cut&Retract是一款可自动收回刀片的安全切割工具，它使用了按压的方式和杠杆的结构，使得刀片在完成其切割操作后的一瞬间自动收回，不会对使用者或者其他人造成不必要的伤害。其使用方式是通过用手掌向下按压其后端的滚轮将前端的刀片弹出。当被按压的滚轮先离开切割边缘时，由于不再受力的作用，后端滚轮先弹出，通过杠杆结构带动前端刀片收回。因此，无论切割的速度有多快，刀片离开物体表面的一瞬间都会自动收缩回去，解决了可能发生意外划伤的问题。 本设计从鹦鹉螺中汲取灵感，因其在遇到危险的时候会缩回壳内，这个生物特征与本产品的操作及反馈方式相吻合，同时让产品具有仿生的趣味性。此外，比起普通美工刀，鹦鹉螺圆润的造型也更贴合手掌，使得用户能更舒适且平稳地操控。 它打破传统刀具类产品的交互方式，利用简单的传动结构，使得它不需要人为额外控制就可以自动将安全隐患消除。 同时它仿生的造型及原理也打破了人们对于传统工具类产品的冰冷无趣的印象。
