Description(English)	The architectural façade is made up of 2404 aluminium panels shaped like grains of rice along with 376 special panels to embody open fields of rice. Five shades of sensitized panels were selected to depict the changes in the rice grains' color through the seasons and transitions in nature. Electro gliding technique is used to allow the panels to withstand environmental conditions, whilst sensitization absorbs natural light and temperature, causing the colors and patterns of each panel to change.
Description(Native)	쌀 모양의 2404개의 알루미늄 패널과 376개의 특수 패널을 적용하여 벼 밭을 형상화한 건축 파사드를 완성하였다. 사계절을 거치며 벼가 나타내는 5가지의 색상 코드를 추출하여 계절과 자연의 변화에 지속적으로 변하는 감응형 컬러 패널을 계획하였다. 또한 외부 환경의 영향에도 변질이나 변색없이 견딜수 있게 알루미늄 패널에 전기 도금 기술을 적용하여 빛, 온도 그리고 외부 환경의 변화에 따라 쌀 모양의 패널의 색과 패턴이 바뀌는 감응형 패널을 개발 적용하였다. 특히, 건축 마감재로 기능적인 부분을 고려하여 입체형태로 디자인하여 가볍고 바람이 잘 통할 수 있게한 기능성 디자인 패널이다. 특수한 공구 없이도 누구나 쉽게 설치가 가능한 D.I.Y 모듈형 입체 패널로 심미성 뿐만 아니라 기능성까지 갖춘 건축 제품이다. 변화 속에서도 그곳을 지키는 영속적인 바람, 물, 햇빛 그리고 인간에게 지속적으로 필요한 새로운 형태의 경험을 전달하는 것이 공간이며 건축의 역할이다. The Reflective Rice Grains 과 같은 다양한 고민, 시도 그리고 기술개발들이 다양한 변화와 환경 속에서 건축 재료가 역사와 문화를 기록하고 기억하며 공존 할 수있기를 바란다.
