Jiyoun Kim, a Chief Designer and Director of Jiyoun Kim Studio™ began his career at a leading mobile device maker, Pantech, for 5 years as a product designer right after graduating Hong-Ik Univ. In 2010, Jiyoun Kim founded Mobject, a community for home & furniture designers, to design experimental furniture and lighting products and participated in various exhibitions. After earning MBA from SKKU in 2014, Jiyoun Kim joined OTR (Over the Rainbow), a product / service / brand consulting firm under LG Group’s advertising agency GIIR, as a co-founder and a design director to lead various consulting projects covering from product design and service development to establishing branding and marketing strategies.

Jiyoun Kim has demonstrated the values of his designs by winning numerous acclaimed design awards globally, including Reddot and iF. As of 2019, he is working as an adjunct professor in the Department of Industrial Design at Konkuk University and leading Jiyoun Kim Studio™ to passionately engage in versatile design activities, from a product, furniture, and object designs to space, branding, and application.
