Description(English)	370 tonnes of fabric and textile are discarded in Hong Kong every day. The majority are dumped to landfills. We began with the community participation, sorting 2000 pieces of recycled clothes by colour and code. Along with 1500 pounds of discarded fabric, they were designed to form the base and surface material for the art installation and furniture. Through this Christmas installation, the team would like to promote the importance of sustainability in consumerism. While bringing up understanding of the possibilities for recycle clothes, it reconnects back to the community above the mall.
Description(Native)	AaaM建築設計工作室受南豐地產的邀請，聯同致力減少時裝界浪費的本地慈善機構Redress攜手合作，在將軍澳廣場的中庭內，以逾1,500磅回收布料舊衣，與大眾一起創建了布料聖誕樂園。 每年聖誕新年都是大家消費的高鋒季節，當我們盛裝打扮，送舊迎新時，衣櫉里的舊衣物亦將成為歷史。隨著「快時尚」及網購發展的持續趨勢，人們更容易廉價地買到心頭好，但與此同時我們亦製造了無數舊衫垃圾。據統計，香港每天約有370 公噸的紡織物品被廢棄，除了極少部分作捐贈重用、回收再生外，大部分都被棄置到堆填區內。我們要改善這情況需由消費習慣與生活細節開始。 項目早於多月已經開始，由社區及企業參與回收及分類工作，把近2000件舊衣分色分號，亦把棄置的布料重新利用，作為製作藝術裝置空間及座椅傢俱的物料面材。團隊經過反覆研究，從日常生活摺疊衣服得到啟發，將每件舊衣摺疊變為建築外表面的組件，「築」成獨一無二的布料聖誕老人屋。 團隊希望透過是次聖誕裝置，能夠喚醒大家對可持續性消費的認知，同時亦將環保概念重新連接社區，讓公眾瞭解更多日常衣物回收或重用的可能。當節日裝置亦能從下而上，由社區共同參與製作，而衣物材料在展覽過後亦會拆除捐贈重用，賦予它無限「生命」，達至裝置材料能循環再用的效果。
