Description(English)	OUTPOST is inspired by Ganghwa's historical "Dondae." This space reinterprets the fortress's intense atmosphere to create a sanctuary where modern individuals can reconnect with nature and recharge. The circular, low walls are central architectural elements reminiscent of the "Dondae," offering visitors a sense of security akin to being cradled in a maternal embrace. These walls also strategically guide sightlines and movement, fostering concentration on the natural surroundings. Inside, subdued lighting enhances the interplay of natural light, drawing attention outward to the surrounding nature.
Description(Native)	아웃포스트는 강화의 유적지인 돈대를 모티브로 돈대의 낮은 원형 담을 주요 디자인 요소로 기획했습니다. 산과 바다에 둘러쌓인 아웃포스트는 2층 야외와 1층 실내로 구성되어 있습니다. 2층 야외는 크게 두 겹의 원형 담으로 구성되어 있습니다. 중앙의 담으로 둘러싸인 원형 공간은 하늘에 집중할 수 있도록 개방되어 있습니다. 담과 담 사이 공간에는 좁고 긴창을 통해 자연을 바라보며 머물 수 있는 테이블을 배치했습니다. 이 세로로 긴 창은 돈대의 포좌라는 포를 쏘던 공간을 닮아 있습니다. 2층 중앙의 지름 2m의 원형 천창은 1층으로 빛을 내려주어 내외부 공간의 연결성을 가지게 합니다. 1층 실내는 중앙의 돌 정원과 낮은 원형 담, 단차가 있는 좌석공간으로 구성되어 있습니다. 실내는 낮은 조도로 계획하여 자연광이 극적으로 보이도록 하는 동시에 창 밖의 자연에 더욱 집중할 수 있도록 했습니다. 돌 정원은 돈대를 구성하던 자연 요소인 돌을 인공적인 조명과 같이 배치하여 돈대를 재해석한 공간임을 은유적으로 나타냅니다. 낮은 원형의 담은 사용자간 동선을 분리하고, 바닥의 단차는 사용자 간의 시선이 자연을 바라보는데 방해받지 않도록 하는 장치로 계획했습니다.
