Description(English)	We have restructured the staircase to adjust the flow direction and utilized the new pathways to shape the front and rear spaces. By using white and light-colored mineral paints, we expand the space. When designing the partitions, we retain functionality and privacy as much as possible while ensuring light permeability. By using skylight and harmonizing spatial lines and materials, we enhance the tranquil atmosphere of the environment. Openings are created in the corridors and stairwells to guide light into the interior pathways, addressing the narrowness of the original building.
Description(Native)	當柔和的光線灑落在空間中，時間彷彿停滯，讓人進入一個緩慢、寧靜的境界。空曠神殿的靜謐，還是被陽光、設計、綠意和微風包圍的城市街道，我們希望將這兩種氛圍融合，植入空間，並傳達給使用者。 本建物位於台灣中部，是一棟屋齡36年的狹長型三層老屋。建物室內面積為47.5㎡，庭園面積為22.7㎡。舊有的樓梯和裝潢使得前後聯通的動線狹窄，加上錯層的樓板結構，使空間被分割。 我們通過重建樓梯結構來調整動線方向，並創造新的動線來塑造前後空間的量體和形式。使用大量白色和淺色系塗料放大空間，使這間面寬狹窄的房屋在挑高空間的映襯下更加寬敞明亮。淺灰色系的地板塗料使空間更加穩定和安定。 由於光線僅來自房屋前側，我們在設計隔間時儘量保留功能需求的隱私性，同時確保光線和視線的穿透性。設計師利用天光強化量體與壁面、地面塗料所形成的空間雕塑感，在廊道及梯間中創造開口，使內側廊道有光線引導，在有限的條件下盡可能突破空間的限制。
