Description(English)	This series of works presents the architectural features and culture of four typical Chinese traditional dwellings (Mongolian Yurts, Hakka Tulou, Quadrangle Dwellings and Cave Dwellings) through remolding the structure of Chinese character. In type design, Chinese characters are combined with architectural structural features to form a new visual symbol or communication tool which is "a unity of shape and meaning". In terms of application, posters or installation art can be further made and applied in book , media, space, tourism industry related to Chinese traditional houses.
Description(Native)	具体以几类代表民居（客家土楼、蒙古包、四合院、窑洞）为原型， 参考各民居的建筑图与文化特色，运用“象形+图式“的手法重新构成了汉字的骨架。其设计程序依次为：（1）在此民居的平面图、立面图、剖面图和立体图中选取最能表现此民居建筑特色的一个视角；（2）通过民居的建筑图、建筑形态及文化特色的分析建立象形化“图式（schema）”形成“字模”；（3）将汉字结构置入“字模”并根据字的可认读性做出相应调整；（4）选取与此民居相关的词汇，进行字体的复制与展开，形成typeface；（5）用typography的“排字”视点将字体元素重新组织构成、制作创意字体海报。 希望通过本系列作品可以为传统民居（建筑）的视觉化提供新的思路，即“形意合一”的视觉符号构建方法。同时中国传统民居作为中国乃至世界的重要建筑遗产，对它的“再设计”具有一定的社会意义和价值。所以希望可以基于此设计方法，进而生产出平面、立体等多种形式的作品，且广泛运用在与民居相关媒体和产业上，进而促进中国传统民居文化的保护、传承与输出。
