Description(English)	EDEN is a XR play, made to expand kid's 'imagery', so that they can recall rich images from a single word. When we read, communicate, or imagine about something through ‘words’, we think of images in our mind. People, who can extract a lot of visual images are more efficient and easier to imagine more creatively. However, being grown up, we have acquired language through the most intuitive symbolic medium rather than extensive imagery for quick understanding. Eden hopes that kids will be able to imagine more broadly by the joyful experience of encountering and sharing various imageries through the block game consists of words and images.
Description(Native)	에덴은 한 단어에서도 풍부한 심상을 떠올릴 수 있도록 아이들의 ‘단어에 따른 심상’을 확장하기 위한, XR 인터랙션을 활용한 놀이입니다. 우리는 '단어'를 통해 무언가를 읽고 소통하거나, 상상할 때 마음속에서 몇가지의 그림들을 떠올립니다. 이를 '심상'이라고 부릅니다. 심상은 우리의 창의성, 상상력 그리고, 효율성에 있어 무궁무진한 가능성을 제공합니다. 실제로 논문에 따르면 한가지의 단어에서, 남들보다 더 많은 시각적 이미지를 추출할 수 있는 사람은 높은 효율성을 보이며, 보다 더 창의적으로 상상하기 쉽다고 합니다. 하지만 심상 형성에 가장 중요한 어릴적 4~10세 사이의 기간 동안 우리는 빠른 이해를 위해, 폭넓은 심상을 활용한 교육 보다는 가장 직관적인 상징적 매체를 통해 언어를 습득해왔습니다. 이러한 상징은 빠른 이해를 위해 필요하지만, 폭 넓은 심상 형성을 한정시키는 문제를 야기합니다. 에덴은 기존의 한정된 교육 방식에서 벗어나, '단어'와 '심상'을 조합하는 증강현실 속의 새로운 놀이 개념을 제안합니다. 지루한 학습 방식이 아닌 양손을 전부 활용하는 적극적인 블록 놀이 과정을 통해, '단어'와 대응하는 폭넓은 '이미지'를 확인하고, 결합하고, 친구들이나 부모님과 함께 공유하며 확장해 나가는 놀이 속에서 상상력과 창의력을 길러줍니다.
