Description(English)	Incheon City, which has the largest number of campsites relative to the area of the country, has launched Incheon Camping Operation (hereafter ICO) to increase the safety culture index of 107 campsites, reconsider the brand popularity of Incheon city's campsites, and improve the facility environment. The name ‘Incheon Camping Operation’ was developed to give a new image of outdoor tourism to Incheon, which has a strong historical awareness of the Operation Chromite. Improving the safety management, outdated signage, lack of safety facilities, various civil complaints and safety accidents, and low manner index compared to many camping sites.
Description(Native)	국내 면적 대비 최다 캠핑장을 보유하고 있는 인천광역시는 107개 캠핑장의 안전문화 지수 상승 및 인천시 캠핑장 브랜드 인지도 재고 및 시설환경 개선 작전을 펼치기 위해 인천캠핑작전을 실행하게 되었습니다. 인천상륙작전이라는 역사적 인식이 강한 인천에 캠핑이라는 새로운 이미지를 부여하고자 인천캠핑작전이라는 이름을 개발하였습니다. 인천캠핑작전은 문화체육관광부와 한국공예·디자인문화진흥원에서 주최한 공공디자인으로 행복한 공간 만들기 사업 공모에서 선정되어 진행된 공공디자인 프로젝트입니다. 많은 캠핑장에 비해 부족한 안전 관리, 노후된 사이니지, 안전 시설 미비, 각종 민원·안전사고, 낮은 매너지수를 관리·개선함과 동시에 인천과 캠핑이라는 이미지 연결 활성화를 위해 브랜드 개발을 추진하게 되었습니다. 인천캠핑작전 브랜드 개발 내용에는 캠페인 네러티브 수립, 사이니지 디자인 개발, 시설물 제작 시 사용될 컬러 시스템 개발, 사용자(어린이, 어른)와 캠핑장 관리자를 위한 안전 매뉴얼 디자인, 웰컴 키트 제작을 포함하며, 시민 참여 캠페인 개최, 각종 디자인 페어 참가 등 브랜드 홍보를 위한 전방위적인 디자인 커뮤니케이션을 수행하였습니다.
