Description(English)	Stepping into the space is like opening a long-lost manuscript, revealing untold stories. This revival of a traditional masonry house preserves its cultural soul through restored beams, tiles, and earthen walls. With a courtyard-centered layout and “Four Waters Converge to the Hall” design, rainwater flows inward, blending tradition and nature. A new steel structure supports the second floor, showcasing harmony between old and new. The interior features a tea room, gallery, and workshop, with large windows framing outdoor views. Using reclaimed tiles, cedar, and blue bricks, the design balances rustic charm with modern usability.
Description(Native)	走入空間，彷彿翻開沉睡的古冊，觸摸那些未曾說完的故事。本案為長年閒置的土木結構老屋，為了活化土地價值，設計師從斑駁瓦面與木柱紋理中，找回其深厚人文與歷史底蘊。 建築設計承襲傳統聚落的中軸對稱特色，將左右耳房保留並讓屋坡朝內院導入，運用「四水歸堂」手法匯聚雨水。並且在不破壞、不浪費的前提下，修繕原有木樑與土牆，保留挑高天井，讓光影在廳堂間自然穿梭。二樓新增空間由獨立鋼構承托，呈現新舊並存之美。 室內規劃了茶室、展廳與手作教室，透過大面玻璃窗引入戶外綠意；量使用舊瓦、杉木與青磚，保留傳統草泥灰粉刷，帶出古樸質感。外觀延續白牆灰瓦的溫潤色系，配合老木構紋理，讓人在傳統之韻與當代需求間，感受到完美平衡。
