Jung Sungwook is the CEO and Design Director of White Whale Design Studio (WW) and a professor in the Department of Industrial Design at Zhejiang A&F University in Hangzhou. He earned his B.A. in Industrial Design from Seoul National University of Science and Technology in South Korea in 2000. His passion for design thinking and innovative idea development led him to pursue a master's degree from the International Design School for Advanced Studies (IDAS) in 2003. In 2023, he received his Ph.D. in Design Studies from the same institution. Dr.Jung has extensive experience as a senior researcher and designer at Daewoo Electronics and has served as a design director for brands such as Cuchen and Coway.

He has a wealth of practical experience in designing and developing a range of products, from small household appliances to large white goods, and significant expertise in ODM and OEM management. He is also a visiting professor at Beijing Union University of Arts and serves as the organizing committee chairman of the Tops+ International Design Platform of the Korea-China Design and Creative Industry Association. Additionally, Jung is an international juror for the Longyun Cup International Bamboo and Wood Products Innovation Design Competition.
